Spirits have changed, their souls filled with greed . . .
And twilight fades sullenly, gorging the seed.

The Spirit World has never been more uncertain of their own kind. Though no written laws had ever been enforced before, the supposedly known laws of common sense -- avoid contact with humans; if one discovers them in the Spirit World, kill them; etc. -- come into play during this raging war -- spirit against spirit, spirit against human.

Greed has taken over the thoughts and souls of many spirits who've an evil mind to begin with; wishes to expand their land, not yet satisfied with the limited amount of land in their world now. As an addition, the spirits find it most convenient for the easy access for more workers in their shops, restaurants, and bathhouses. And so . . . Their ultimate goal: Take over both worlds. Armies are being formed, armory and weapons being forged. The classic Hero vs. Villain has become real in this magical era of true agony.

With the war going on . . . What will become of the worlds? Humans are beginning to fade into the dark, shadowy spirits, most likely to never go back to their human forms. Spirits are dying, never to come back alive to either world. In a desperate attempt to stop the evil spirits from taking over both worlds, the spirits -- those who are against the terrifying evil-doers -- are beginning to plead to the younger humans for help; but a few questions still lay in mind. How will this war end? And whose side will you be on?

Their thoughts are quite clear. Take over the human world and create a brand new world, a world ruled by only the spirits. These spirits, who've supposedly thought thoroughly, are quite confident that joining the two worlds together should be quite simple, with a minimal level of difficulty.

The younger humans have the ability to watch as the other humans become faders, become long, thin figures that no longer smile, no longer frown. They no longer have the ability to have emotion, and seem to be unable to think on their own. These humans, blessed or cursed, must find a way to help the Spirit World return to its original form -- no such evil spirits, and peace between the two worlds. The spirits who are against the evil are unable to see exactly how quickly the armies are forming, nor how fast their paces are. These evil armies have placed themselves within reach of the Sight, completely unaware of the humans' unaffected vision; their spell hides them perfectly from the other spirits, in a large, enormous stretch of land.

There's only one winner in this situation -- it's do or die.
